Its funny when a 10 year old tries to teach you a thing or two about relationships, especially when youre twice his age, and going through relationship problems of your own.
My nephew came to me and told me about his girlfriend (ROFL WTF) who is 11, one year older than him. I noticed how similar their "relationship" was to the REAL relationships adults get involved in.
For one, they sms alot. They sweet talk alot. They CHAT NON STOP ON THE F*KING PHONE. They say good stuff about their partners, often exaggerating(He told me his girl can speak german, french and a few other foreign languages). And when things turn sour, they go
"YOU DONT BELIEVE ME I DONT WANT TO FRIEND YOU ANYMORE"
*End call abruptly*
Haha. If only things were that simple.
On another note i was extremely shocked with the amount of nonsense our youngsters are absorbing today. Yesterday, my five year old niece came to me, sat on my lap, and asked me a question.
"What bird cant fly?"
Thinking it was a typical no-brainer kid IQ question, i swiftly replied:
" Ostrich la"
and she went
"NO LA"
and whispered into my ear
"kukubird"
before running away, giggling loudly.
Omgz i was very decent when i was 5 okay :P The only bird i talked about was the Big Bird from Sesame street. Yes, that big fat yellow featherball that walks around teaching kids how to sing the ABC song.
Haha. Kids. The innocent dumb stuff they say always make my day =)

Are there no more feelings left, other than guilt and sympathy?
How did it come to this.
